Wazap!
It’s been a hectic month+ of quarantine. The world’s been exploding, and I’ve been cooped up writing and thinking.
A few weeks ago I was doing a more in depth technical study of Gödel’s Incompleteness Theorems and similar math. Got a lot of new ideas there, and might write up a “Hazardous Guide to Logic and Incompleteness” at some point. A lazy summary thread here.
The most exciting ideas I’ve been having relate to thinking of reflective consciousness as “experiencing one’s map of one’s self”. For a breadcrumbs teaser, here’s a thread that’s got a lot of disjointed thoughts.

Legibility and Samzdat (link)
At one point I was planning on doing a whole reading guide to samzdat’s Uruk Machine series. I lost energy on that direction, but got out one post which is a great intro to the concept of legibility and pulls from several different sources.
Causal vs Predictive Models and the Causal Taboo
Short post on what its title says :) It’s the least amount you need to know about causal models for the next post to make sense….
Predictive Categories Make Bad Causal Variables
Somethings that you use to think look like they can be causal variables, but weird shit can happen when you try. An exploration of that, and how it relates to the Folk Theory of Essences
“Live and think with the full strength of your being”
Captures an important concept that I’ve used to understand how I ruined meaning for myself, and make sense of frequent misunderstandings I have with other people’s writing.
